Steakhouses tend to be pricey if they take their steaks seriously. Porterhouse Bistro pitches itself as the steakhouse that is a little less pricey and doesn’t take itself too seriously but still offers great steaks.

My dining companion and I went for their Prix Fix Menu. You can go to their menu here to check it all out. We had the Porterhouse salad to start off, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli to go with our 26 oz. porterhouse. We finished off with chocolate lava cake. The food was delicious. Service was attentive and unobtrusive and the atmosphere of the restaurant allowed for thoughtful conversation.

Our meal with tax and tip was a little over $80.
