Paris Grinds Carl’s Jr.’s Beef

Two of Los Angeles’ most well-known junk franchises have joined forces.
Hotel heiress Paris Hilton will preen and shill in a Carl’s Jr.’s spicy burger ad that kicks off on Tuesday. According to an AP story filed out of the L.A. bureau:
The hotel heiress, actress, jewelry designer and entrepreneur will star in a television commercial next week in which she will slap suds on the side of a Bentley automobile and chomp on a thick burger while clad in a skimpy black bathing suit. The ad for the fast-food chain Carl’s Jr. will feature Hilton’s signature tag line, which doubles as a reference to the barbecue sauce and jalapenos-pepper laden sandwich “that’s hot.” Hilton will perform the feat to a rock version of the song “I Love Paris in the Springtime.”
Now when I think of Paris Hilton and Carl’s Jr., I tend to think over-cooked and tasteless, but whatever it takes to move the cow carcasses. As it turns out, Tuesday night is going to be an especially stomach-murdering experience for television viewers. Later that same evening UPN is debuting the new Britney Spears and K-Fed reality show Chaotic.
Finally, in an equally absurd, self-prostitution related Chowhound thread, commentors discuss the best way to avoid being confused for a sex worker when drinking alone at a high-end bar.
