My thoughts almost exactly!

I was in a swanky gourmet shop (Paradise Foods) in Marin this weekened. While I was studying the Prosecco and Lambic selections in the liquor aisle, my partner in crime tracked me down, and dragged me toward the deli, saying, "You have GOT to try this meatloaf with bacon!"

Now, I thought to myself, "Meatloaf and bacon? That sounds like the kind of thing Lynn Spears makes special for Britney and Jamie when they go home to Louisiana. Blech."

But then I tried a sample and I about died and went to heaven...

mmm, excellent use of runny egg yolks. I just saw a recipe for a pizza with a poached egg in the middle that looks tasty.
