I live in Southern California and just wanted to let everyone know that the fresh garbanzos in their shells are showing up in the hispanic markets lately like Superior Grocery Warehouse or El Super. Worth checking out!

We ate some at a restaurant in Spokane, WA. Must be from the same local family. Where I come from in Lebanon, the green garbanzo is a delicacy, hand picked and left in the pod, but commonly seen. One of the most nutritious foods known. The Mosers should be commended for bringing them to U.S. - shelled. (we don't buy hem hat way) I understand that the Moser Family does this "without the use of harmful chemicals". They sound like wholesome people, for a food that all will enjoy. I am excited for all of you in the U.S. Tou should thank this family!

Check out the Moser Family in N. Central Idaho. I'm told that thia family developed proprietary methods to produce and harvest the green grbanzo. We recently ate some at the Coeur d'Alene Resort in Idaho and inquired about their origin. The Head Chef there told us that he found them throgh the Idaho Preffered Program. People have gone crazy over them. This local, innovative family are producers that have accomplished what many have tried usuccessfully. They have done a alot of reduced chemical for sustainable agriculture. We need more producers like that - let alone this wonderful product that they supply. Soon across the country!

Hey these guys have been selling us these wonderful beans for 10 years.... they are great to work with and have developed many recipes that they'll share. The green garbanzos have attracted a wonderful following at our restaurant. The Clearwater people have invented a wonderful method to offer this incredible food consisently ~ now for over 10 years. A solid family that you should meet. Try them.

Regarding chick peas - I find it incredibly frustrating to remove that thin skin from each individual chick pea. Any advice on a fast way to do this?
