Like every red-blooded American, I love free shit. Except when it is literally shit. In celebration of its 44th anniversary, Wienerschnitzel will be handing out one free chili dog to daring patrons between 5 and 8 pm Tuesday. They’re also throwing in a sample-size Tastee Freez ice cream cone chaser to neutralize the otherwise lethal chili dog acid.
Yes, the offer is gone, but the eloquence of losanjealous remains.

Okay, now I can admit it, I went to Weinerschnitzel this past week. I thought about writing a post, but it’s almost too low-end even for a bum like me. I got a turkey dog with relish, the kind of dog where the whole thing has the texture of white bread.
I did want to point out that the Tastee Freez vanilla cone was pretty decent; better than Frostee Freeze, or the fake stuff at McDonalds. So maybe I’ll go back…
