		<description>oooh. almonds! i love nuts in the crust - hence, pine nuts in this one. almond meal, or even the addition of ground almonds to a regular pastry crust would be delicious with...cherries, don't you think? ai yai yai. now i am off to make a cherry tart :)</description>

A great pastry base for sweet tarts such as this one is shortcrust pastry that uses almond meal instead of flour (or better still, half portions of each.)  I just found you can get almond meal at Wholefoods (St City).</description>
