Santa Monica Farmers Market Report For 11/16/05
Wednesday, November 16, 2005 14:00I hit up the far mar and bought tons of goodies. I picked up some pineapple guavas (little green guavas that you eat the centers of), baby heirloom tomatoes (from Tutti Frutti farms, one of the best stands), carrots, cabbage, onions, mutzu apples (for baking and eating), new york apples (for baking), tangelos……I think that is about it! There were TONS of apples out, lots of persimmons, just a few pomegranates, lots of dark greens, one stand had strawberries, lots of peppers, chiles, and quite a number of heirloom tomatoes.
