This stunning tortilla breaks the molcajete with its new determination of molecular dimensions, enh? As if we need further proof that photoelectric effects taste better with frijoles negro and a cold Bohemia.

The Miracle by Los Angeles artist Sarah Perry. Here, Einstein’s face appears on a tortilla.
(Perry’s) work reflects a worldview in which the mystery of the scientific observation of the natural world triumphs over the imagined world of superstition. She’s quite possibly one of the most amazing people I have ever met.

[update] The Miracle is on display in the show DRAW at the Angels Gate Cultural Center until January 29.
