Yes, the one on Wilshire was a Mishima. In fact, on the Mishima website, the company makes it very clear that it is no longer affiliated with the Wilshire location. I'm really curious as to why all the Mishima chains have closed. If any one knows, please share!

I had the same Yashima-Mishima confusion, we still visit the Yashima location from time to time. Wasn't there a Mishima on Wilshire near Westgate for a while? I think it has converted to a buffet place now.

I absolutely LOVE Mishima! My family and I go here for the udon too. I usually get a small bowl with the three hand roll combination. And nope, have yet to try the desserts there. DOH! And I doubly LOVE sweets! ;) There's a FABULOUS Udon place down in Gardena off of Western and 182nd called Sanuki no Sato... a MUST GO!
