I love Roy's too! Me and one of my ex boyfriends used to go all the time to the one in woodland hills (becasue his apt. was literally right next to it)

Anyways I just read on the website that it's their 20th year anniversay! Ok and it gets even better on March 20th chef Roy is actually going to be preparing dishes at the Los Angeles location. It's only $100 for a 5 course dinner.

I already think the food is amazing but with Mr.Roy in charge its probably gonna be amazinger...yea im sure thats not a word but hey it explains what I'm trying to say.

Hey Suzy! I just found out that a girlfriend of mine has a friend whose brother is the Exec Chef over at Roy's in Downtown. I can't wait to go back with her to see if I can meet the guy behind the fish! :) Yes...I love splitting dishes too - especially desserts! YUM!

Roys is my favorite place to go in Hawaii, thanks for the write up Kristy! I can't wait to try the LA Roys. I think my favorite is the Maui restaurant (the first one, bar and grill not Nicola, out near Kapalua), but i've been to all on all the islands and have never been let down. I liked the San Francisco roys, and the Pebble Beach one was pretty good, but I think you can't beat the Hawaii restaurants. Butterfish, Ono, Mahi Mahi, Opakapaka....and the desserts! Always a tasty treat and worth the price. My favorite thing is their split dishes so I can try more!
