Trader Joe’s Fans Unite
Saturday, January 28, 2006 11:05I was emailed yesterday by the owner of a new site called Trader Joe’s Fan.
It’s a spot on the web where users can share their opinions and ratings on Trader Joe’s merchandise, both the big brand stuff and the house brand. The site is based in Boston and has only been up for a few weeks, but they’re already building a database.
In addition to the product database, there’s also a forum. I’ve been a big fan of Tracking Trader Joe’s, but they haven’t posted in ages and have been strangely silent on the hot topic of the first Manhattan Trader Joe’s opening soon.
You don’t even have to join the site (but you’ll be eligible to win gift baskets and gift certificates) to browse and you can even add you ratings on common products. You can be sure I’m going to be putting in my thoughts about my tried and true favorites and of course some of Trader Joe’s blunders. It’ll also be interesting to see the regional differences with the products.

I’ve thought of creating a separate site to cover TJ’s since there is so much to talk about with that store. With their varying inventory, my friends and I always trade tips on good new stuff that has arrived.
I will say, though, that I can get enough of “Two Buck Chuck”…
