There are some fascinating cut-off dates in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them heart to heart. There may be some validity but I will take maintain opinion till I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we wish more! Added to FeedBurner as effectively

I'm hoping its just opening jitters. To survive in that part of Sony City, you have to roll with the demanding lunch crowd, rushed and unforgiving.

We dined at Kaizuka for dinner in January 2006 and were highly annoyed by the lack of service and Sushi 101 menu selections. We tried a grilled cod appetizer selection from the menu and the fish was hot from the grill and beautifully done, but the potatoes on the plate were icy and the beans undercooked and hard. Our waitress attempted to disappear several times and eventually had to be hunted down by the sushi chef.

The food is very tasty, I think it's a good introduction to Japanese food. Just keep in mind what a slippery slope it is. Before you know it, you'll be eating fried shrimp heads with ponzu.

Great review. As residents of the ever-growing "Helms Design District" (the artsy name for downtown Culver City), my wife and I have been watching as new galleries and restaurants sprout up, wondering which ones will be good and which ones won't (restaurants, that is). We saw Kaizuka when they set foot, and were curious...we're pretty new to Japanese cuisine, although we're big fans of Asahi Ramen and Otom (Sushi-ya) on Sepulveda. Guess we'll be dropping in soon!
