It’s onerous to seek out educated folks on this matter, but you sound like you already know what you’re speaking about! Thanks

I've been to Rosemary's in Bakersfield, terrible service, you don't pay that much for ice cream to get poor service with it! Plus their bowls are more glass than ice cream. I like Thrifty's ice cream pretty well myself... Choc Brownie, malted crunch, and Mideval Madness are favorites. ColdStone is too sweet. Baskin Robbins makes the best sundaes by my taste.

You need to drive up to Bakersfield and have some Dewar's Ice Cream (70 years) or that newfangled Rosemary's (21 years!). I think the Disney Fountain at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood serves Dewar's

I love the pistachio at Bennett's in the 3rd & Fairfax market. The secret there is to get a hand packed pint, I think it costs about the same as a double, but they absolutely stuff it with ice cream.

My girlfriend from New Jersey surprised me with one of their birthday ice cream cakes on my 20th a few years back. It was one of the best birthdays ever.
