Sake Illuminated, A Sake Tasting Event @the museum of neon art
Tuesday, February 28, 2006 16:52After going to the MOCA Ecstasy Exhibit at the Geffen, I’m so looking forward to the next cool exhibit to visit. This upcoming event at the Museum of Neon Art may just be IT! Sake tasting, hors d’oeuvres, and Asian American neon artists may be a hard thing to pass up.
Here’s the scoop I got from my Little Tokyo Service Center newsletter:
“On April 27, 2006, V Promotions presents SAKE ILLUMINATED at the Museum of Neon Art. Enjoy a unique evening of sake, art and entertainment where sake and food pairings offer guests a tantalizing experience for their palettes. Sake experts will be on hand to provide an education on the sake and food pairings at the various sake and hors d’oeuvres stations. As guests sample the offerings, they will also be able to view the As We Glow Forward exhibit at the Museum of Neon Art and speak to Asian American neon artists regarding the work on display.

This sounds like fun! I’ve marked my diary.
I just hope they have a decent food-to-sake ratio, because it’s pretty easy to get plastered on that cold (my preference) rice nectar… Maybe I’ll ask my guy if he’ll drive!
