Röckenwagner Bakery to Open on Wednesday
Monday, March 13, 2006 9:44New word from the folks at Röckenwagner that their bakery is opening on Wednesday, March 15th.
We covered Röckenwagner closing in January. At that time there were hints of new ventures and now we see what the offering is.

Having hammered our last nail in place, we are excited to announce the opening of Rockenwagner Bakery at 12835 Washington Blvd. (cross street - Beethoven) in Mar Vista. No longer will you have to wait for the right Farmer’s Market day to enjoy our artisanal scones and fresh-baked pretzel rolls!
Starting Wednesday, March 15, Rockenwagner Bakery will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM featuring our full line of baked products including the Rudolph Steiner health bread, our cheese-poppy seed twists, our fruit streusels and more. We’ll also serve Meinl coffee from one of Austria’s great Kaffeehouses and, coming soon, we’ll introduce a menu of carryout sandwiches, quiches, salads and soups.
Come break bread with us! We’re open Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
