Been craving some authentic lebanese, think i’m going to Wahib’s. Can’t beat the “falafel combination” meal, and some fresh baked baklava as well.

lunch = Casa del Rey Mexican Restaurant in San Dimas for the BEST chips & salsa around along with either a killer chile relleno or the best tacos along with a delicious margarita. Dinner Saturday at Coco Cabana in Pomona for really good Cuban food. Sunday dinner will be at the Sycamour Inn in Rancho Cucamonga for delicious raw oysters for appetizer & then a really tender prime rib & very good service.

Help! I am an Australian seafood marketer trying to find the best purveyors/chefs of seafood in LA to talk to about our Southern Rock Lobster - any suggestions?

it’s difficult to say which chefs would be willing to endorse your product but here’s a list of some of LA’s best seafood spots:

    Matsuhisa
    Water Grill
    Providence
    Crustacean
    Hungry Cat
    ….

On Sunday we spent the day at the Santa Monica Pier taking in the new traveling photo-art show and afterwards decided to have dinner at a quant little mediteranian restuarant called Caspian Cuisine. I had a lovely plate of lamb chops that just melted in my mouth. It was served with a basmati rice with dried dill and a hand full of (believe it or not) lima beans. The flavor was fantastic and light. I can’t wait to try and make it at home.
The resturant is right across from the mall at the south end of 3rd Street Promonade in Santa Monica. The service was fast, the food was fabulous, and the ambiance was lovely.
