I had lunch at the Westwood location recently and didn't think that highly of the cheesesteak, but I'm from back east and I'm picky about these things. The meat didn't have a lot of flavor and the sandwich really could have used some jus on it (my favorite cheesesteaks are juicy the way french dips are). The roll could have been toastier too; it was a little doughy and didn't have the carbony crunch of a good hoagie fresh from the oven. I'm glad they use provolone instead of whiz, cuz I never quite "got" the whiz appeal.

I am going to Philadelphia this weekend. Each time i go I make it a point to have a cheesesteak sandwich from at least one of the reknown places. Your writeup brings so much anticipation.
