I don't know what happened the night we were there, but the food was inedible--tasted like someone dumped half a shaker of salt on it! Not just the doner, but the sides too. My husband comes from doner country and he was appalled. I might give it another try sometime, but I know he won't.

BY E ^ - Nice Attitude! You sound charming, attacking some guy because he doesn't recognize "traditional Turkish bread"...

ANYWAYS Spitz is fantastic. Once a week we hit this spot and never dissapoints. ONLY complaint is the parking situation. You pretty much have to park on Colorado and try not to get killed getting out of the car.

First of all, I think spitz is one of the more lackluster lunch spots I've been to. But if there is anything decent about their doner and falafel it's that they use traditional Turkish bread. It's not "homeade panini" you idiot. Learn what food is before you start blogging about it.
