I have heard that more people go out to eat on Mother’s Day than any other day. Is this true for you? Is this an indictment of the rest of the family — that they can’t put food on the table for mom — or is this proof that dad and the kids care enough not to mess up the kitchen?

We are BBQing with mom on Sunday with some Salmon and grilled artichokes, let’s see what we can do to get rid of this May Gray, okay? June Gloom, I have come to expect, but I don’t pay taxes in SoCal to not see the sun in May.
