The History of Chinese Food in Los Angeles

Sponsored by the Culinary Historians of Southern California, a FREE panel discussion moderated by Sonia Mak, Curator of the Chinese American Museum, featuring as panelists authors Carl Chu and Lisa See, and former Los Angeles City Councilman Michael Woo.

It is the only library to own all three of California’s first charitable cookbooks, one of which is entitled How to Keep a Husband, or Culinary Tactics.
