		<description>Ooh, Ruenpair, home of the morning glory. Thai Patio is very good now also, if more of a crowd-pleaser, mainstream choice. 

Many of these places are Thai-Chinese, which is to say a variation of Teo Chew and Hokkien ancestries, a class who congregate in every major city in SE Asia. By dint of custom and strong social networks, they're focused on urban commerce and harbor no fear of emigration--and thank god for that, because my neighborhood is much the richer for it.</description>
