Dine Out Los Angeles, and get a great meal at a great price for a
great cause to help end child hunger in America.
For a limited time, some of the restaurants in the LA area are
offering a special three-course pre-fixe gourmet menu for just $20 at
lunch and $35 at dinner. See website for complete list of restaurants
that are offering this program from September 18-22, 2006, and
September 25-29, 2006. Participation varies, so please read the list
carefully and call the restaurant if you have any questions.
Participating restaurants may offer lunch only, dinner only or both.

It would be cool to come up with a bang-for-the buck list showing which restaurants offer the biggest discount as a result of the Dine Out offer.

I tried to call Lucques for a Dine Out dinner reservation, but they’re only doing Dine Out for lunch. Lame. :(

Not to criticize when a company gives money to charity when they don’t have to, but $1 for every meal? Notice also that they’re only donating when the meal served is one of the special meals. Hopefully the restaurants are heavily promoting this option, but it seems that it would be a lot more effective for Share Our Strength if Pellegrino didn’t stipulate that they would donate only for the special meals ordered.
