heysandra thanks for your input. It’s happened a couple of times–even with the frequent buyer card. I did the math the other day: 3.95 +1.65 and added the 8.25% sales tax and got about $6.06–I was charged $6.35. So not a huge difference but since I do go there at least once a week it tends to add up. Maybe that’s the reason they offer the 10 crepe/drink free? After 10 visits the “overcharges/misc fees” cover that 10th free crepe/drink. I think I’ll start taking my calculator :)

Hrm, I’ve never had a severe problem with not getting back the correct change, but I agree, being overcharged here might be an issue. Sometimes it seems I get charged tax on something that’s already 3.99 (this is like an iced tea) and then additional charges for flavorings or something. Then I’m ending up paying like 5 bucks and change for an iced tea, and then I’m regretting that I ordered it. This doesn’t happen all the time - but in the end, I usually stick to crepes, and using his frequent stamp card gives you a free boba or crepe on the 10th one of either, so I guess it kinda evens out.

anyone ever have trouble with being overcharged at this place? or not given the correct change? It’s happened to me a couple of times. I gave the guy $10 for a $7 order and didn’t get my change until i said something about it.

I’ve been to KC Crepes a few times, and the “cash only” policy is fustrating. The crepes are good, but the drinks are too… SWEET. I decided to try something new the other day and ordered the duet - GROSS!!! The duet was extremely sweet and milky with tea and coffee mixed together. I go back for their crepes every now and then when I have cash with me, but I definitely won’t go back for any drinks.

Thanks for the heads up, Christopher, the link is now fixed. Yeah the “cash only” policy is very frustrating - I’ve had to skip out on going here a few times when I had a craving - but again, their crepes and drinks are so good…hopefully someday they’ll accept credit cards. Until then…I guess I’ll keep on having to search for change between the couch cushions.

(fyi, the url for http://www.drinkyourmilk.blogspot.com/ is missing the “r” in “your”). we live right by that place and have been in a few times - but my girlfriend won’t go back because they only take cash! still pretty lame in this day and age when places won’t take cards of any kind. but they do have good drinks.
