On my wish list are -- steak and purple yams at Jar; brunch (preferably mid-week rather than a weekend) at BLD; Hatfields; another visit to Bin 8945; a third and fourth visit to Mozza for the Sunday Lasagne special AND Tuesday for the duck and lentil special.

If I get the golden opportunity, I'd love to dine at Cut in April for my birthday.

Another wistful dream is to dine this year at Joel Robuchon's in Vegas, but right now I don't see ourselves being able to justify the exorbitant expense.

But you never know what riches and opportunities the year will bring, do you?!

Around here, I would like to really like to try Bin 8945, Rustic Canyon, Asanebo, and go back to Angeli Caffe and Scoops Gelato many many times.

Also, to find the craziest stuff in Tokyo and then eat it.

Taking an eating trip to Vegas and (hopefully) the French Laundry.

In LA, keepin' it real and trying to find some honest, reasonably-priced, and yummy food.

I wouldn't mind making this the Year of The Fish and pulling a Providence, Water Grill and Ocean Avenue trifecta.

H.C. - We had a couple great meals up in Mendecino last year, including Cafe Beaujolais. I suggest getting a reservation there, really good food.

I haven't really thought about it for the entire year. But tomorrow night I am going to Mu Dung San for $15 all you can eat Korean BBQ. I went last week and already craving for it again. They offer beef, beef rib, beef tongue, sirloin steak, beef brisket and pork belly. Also there are assorted Korean appetizers, salad, steamed egg and soup. All for an amazing price of $15!

At least one trip to Providence, and probably another "splurge mug" trip -- pricey restaurant to be determined.

Will be making one trip to Mendocino County, though I expect to be eating more modest meals there.

And of course, the obligatory long weekend excursion to Vegas, probably one splurge meal and several off-Strip eats.

In LA, I also plan to try BLD, Square One, NickyD's, Joe's, Lucques, Hugo's and *maybe* Celadon.

I'd like to give BLD on Beverly another chance. My friends and I have always have bad experiences there including being ignored repeatedly (90 minute wait anyone?) and finally receiving food that tasted like it was really pushing the limits of its freshness. This has happened more than once. The management has comped our bar tab TWICE to compensate, but I'd really like to experience an opportunity to enjoy a nice meal there. Others sing the praises of BLD loudly, so perhaps I've just been unlucky.
