LA Tid-Bites
Wednesday, April 18, 2007 16:17Is Tid-Bite a word? A bit of news about food, a tidbit of news about food. Well, LA Tid-Bites are little notes about the LA food scene.
- Jonathan Gold, Patron Saint of LA Food Bloggers, wins the first Pulitzer given to a food critic. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving recipient.
- NPR Discusses the news that the Michelin Guide is coming to Los Angeles. How do you put together a fine-dining guide for a city that rejects formality? Good listen.
- Los Angeles selected as 4th best Restaurant City - French food is close to dead in L.A. However, the city still has great sushi, the best new steakhouse in America
- A reason to eat at Carl’s Jr? Carl’s Jr. won recognition for receiving more than $27,000 in rebates from Southern California Gas last year for using energy-efficient food-service equipment.. Probably not, but good to know if you swing that way.
