I remember this place when it was in Agoura Hills. I hear they are opening a huge store in West Hills. It is the place to get a whiff of the fresh-from-the oven smell - courtesy of Fine’s Family Bakery. Once you follow your nose, you will enter Fine’s Family Bakery spacious customer area. You will see endless bright and shiny cases packed with all of your favorites including Danish pastries in all varieties, comforting coffee cakes, beautiful tea cookies, rugalah, Babkas, and our famous Chocolate Chip Twist.

I just recently found out about Natas and checked it out - everything is yummy. I'll definitely go back and sit in their little courtyard to try more things. I had a custom guitar shaped cake made at Hansen's (Tarzana location) for my husbands birthday. It was beautiful and DELICIOUS (I am a cake person!). I tasted one of their cakes at a wedding and it was just as good. Pastries by Edie is probably the best bakery (of that type) in all of LA - everything is wonderful. (I drive way out of my way to go there too!)

Nichole...You should try LAYER'S for your wedding cake. We ordered my aunt's 25th wedding anniversary cake there. It was delicious!! And my boss has ordered his kid's birthday cakes a couple of times. Janelle is very creative!

Has anyone ever used Nicolossi's for their wedding cake? Did it taste good? Were they reliable? I know the cream puffs are to die for, but when we went to this bakery for a tasting, the cake samples were not so hot (I think because they were frozen for too long). Any feed back would be helpful.

P.S. This is an awesome list!! If we do not use Nicolossi's for our wedding, I will be coming back here for more referrals.
