I just got in from the market and it was good. At first I wasn’t very moved because we really are in between summer fruits and fall fruits, but ended up getting into it. Picked up some very sweet oranges, grapefruit and pomegranates. Yum! Plenty of peaches and plums are still out and I can’t remember the name but i picked up a yellow/green variety. Lots of tasty apples and a variety of pears, but no Bartlett’s which I was really enjoying. I picked up my new favorite apple, the Honey Crisp, which the seller said will not return after this week. Pink Lady’s are out as well. Lots of peppers out, Anaheim’s and bells, as well as some other varieties. I picked up red grapes, which are still out but their season is coming to an end in October, and I also picked up some Sangiovese grapes to try. Got some other goodies like cauliflower and broccoli, and there are lettuces a plenty. Saw a few strawberries, but it is still early for them. Should start showing up in December in force.

Oh, I just had a honey crisp for the first time the other day and I really loved it. I can’t decide if it’s usurped my all time fave - fuji - or not.

I would have to do an AB comparison. They are certainly really similar.

I’d better get some more before they disappear!

    Thanks for the report.
