Fresh and Easy Employee Spotted at Whole Foods

I saw a Fresh & Easy employee at the Manhattan Beach Whole Foods today. How did I know that he was from Fresh & Easy? He had a badge hanging from his belt. At first I thought he might be scoping out the competition, doing some of that industrial reconnaissance that we hear about. As it turns out, he was just grabbing a prepared salad from the cold case. I tried to eavesdrop on his conversation to see if he was relaying anything juicy back to home base, but as far as I could tell, his conversation was quite mundane.

Conspiracy theories?

I’m obsessed with Fresh and Easy and getting one in Huntington Beach (January 9th). I’ve been blogging on Tesco for quite a while and I’ve gotten some hits from Safeway, Albertsons, Krogers and Whole Foods.

    They’re watching alright.

He’s an undercover Whole Foods employee from another branch wearing a Fresh & Easy badge in a diabolical character assassination scheme.

Mom…Fresh and Easy will be landing at Beach & Terry. Another location will be opening in Fountain Valley at Warner & Bushard.

Hello people do you relize these people are here to STEAL your money?? They don’t care about you! They could care less. They have what they need….MONEY! People don’t like “glorified” liquor stores! Hello it’s just another Wallgreens, or CVS. ALCOHOL IS THIER GAME!! Other grocery stores are your neighborhood they grew up with you. Tesco aka Fresh and Easy, they came into your homes acting like they cared just to study your habits. Sounds like a grocery store I want to shop at….NOT!! I’m not going to lie I work at a Kroger store but understand I only like my job because of the customers, I love customers! You are my friends my family and most importanty my top priority! I know people at Fresh and Easy arn’t that commited!

Hi, I just shopped at F & E yesterday and found the store to be very gloom and more like an upscale 99 Cent store when it comes to it’s food. As soon as i walked into the door, there was a meat display filled with dead beings nicely packaged for all to see?? I dont think I’ve ever walked into a grocery store to be met by such a sight! They didn’t have much at all in organic produce, and the staff appear helpful but also surprised by my simple questions about organics and if they have incentives for those who bring our own reusable grocery totes. I did get a nice bag of pistachios, some rice and a box of Borax but this isn’t the type of store that caters to eco- conscious Green People, unfortunately.

the f&e corporate office is very near that whole foods, where the nearest fresh&easy store is in lakewood. you can’t fault them for wanting good food while they’re at work.

and to seth quinter - get your head out of the sand. you sound just as stupid as the grocery worker’s union. it’s a store with 10 aisles of food and one aisle of beer and wine. do the math.

also, you’re obviously a union member since you work at krogers - i wonder what your starting salary and benefits looked like. i’m sick of hearing the unions talk crap about this company because they’re non-union when f&e is giving their employees everything a union would without making them pay dues.

10 Aisle’s of Food + a whole aisle of beer and wine. notice how I said WHOLE…sounds like a Wallgreens or CVS to me. But with “Healther Food” Hello food’s not healthy no matter what chemicals you place in them. I’m not talking crap because “Fresh and Easy” has no union. Who gives a crap about the union. I’m talking about our lovely customers who will be affected by this crappy food. Yes it’s cheap in a vacumed package. What’s next tv’s in a vacumed package too? Btw thumbs up for being the first one to go off subject. It had nothing to do with the union. I love customers. They want things there way and thats what I do. At “F&E” everything is prepackaged so they can’t get it any other way. Who wants to buy that? EW GROSS! Processed meats just like walmart.

Fresh and Easy is a great store and a great company to work for!! I worked for Safeway for quite some time and I was union and they did nothing for me!! I am happy to be at a non union store because I have no problems what so ever without them!! GO FRESH AND EASY!!!

I like the store. It’s kind of neat. They let me ride around in the fat person cart.

fresh and easy has no preservatives they are not anything like tv dinners. also they dont have any hard alcohol. They have a small section of beer and wine. Why do you think the food goes out of code so fast. I work at fresh and easy I would know. I can understand that you’re mad because we make more and have better benefits with no union dues.

    ps
our fresh and easy store is in an old Ralphs building. thats how good kroger is doing.
