I'm currently a courtesy clerk after being demoted from the position I started in because it didn't work out. Courtesy clerks make $8.10/hour starting. I'm now at $8.20/hour but I saw on the Fresh & Easy web site that their starting at $10/hour for entry level positions. I have no clue what the hours are like but if they're comparable with Vons (I do like the guaranteed hours part of our union contract at least) I would definitely accept an offer for a position with Fresh & Easy. They have a small section of beer and wine. Why do you think the food goes out of code so fast. I work at fresh and easy I would know. I can understand that you're mad because we make more and have better benefits with no union dues. ps our fresh and easy store is in an old Ralphs building. thats how good kroger is doing. seth
