		<description>I think that the event will be a success. I actually appreciate that they simply call it a restaurant promotion, rather than loosely tying it to a charity. It's not that I'm against charity, but often the charity gets a pittance, while the restaurant rides the wave of publicity.

It's a good point about comparing the DineLA menu to the normal menu. I'm actually going to places that I haven't been yet, so I would have to go back later.</description>

		<description>Thanks for collecting the info. As long as people are eating out more than they would normally, it probably will be considered successful. I'd like to hear about someone who tried a restaurant they'd never been to (simply because it was DineLA), then returned for their regular menu in the future.</description>

All this bait-and-switch reminds me of last year, when I had such a terrible restaurant experience with San Pellegrino's dine out day that I'd care not to divulge the details for fear of being charged with libel.
