I fell across your blog on the 7th and Fig Farmer's Market and then my attention was drawn to one of my favorite subjects: cheeeese! I'm also working on a blog on Downtown and OC foodie-friendly places, and highly recommend a little cheese shop called "Frog's Breath" in the City of Orange. Check out my blog, I reviewed it just last week: www.anglophilelv.blogspot.com

MMMMM. I love cheese! That would be the best valentine's present ever! Anyways, thanks for posting your comments - the word cutlery isn't obsolete - you should survey your blog readers!!!

This is a shop I drove by a number of times but never visited while in LA. *Sigh* I have yet to meet a blue I don't love!

A remarkably miserable shopping experience at Artisan today. With 3 people behind the counter & 1 in the kitchen, and only 2 people ahead of me, it took 35 minutes to get service. Why? Simple -- the staff totally ignored the "please take a number if we appear busy" sign, repeatedly serviced walk-up and ignored those waiting with numbers. Cheese is great. Service stinks!

I know! Spooky, isn't it?

Do you think they take all the milk from their goats until they're past it and then - ahem - the poor nanny goats get turned into handbags and shoes?!

Had no idea Coach Farms & Coach purses are the same folks! Their cheese is pretty good -- from what I remembered on their Mozza Pizza (with leeks & bacon).
