You are actually right on with that comment. If you're going to call yourself "The Waffle," you should probably put more effort into making really delicious waffles. It seems they were more focused on making lots of different kinds, but I do think that the waffles at Roscoe's are better, so they should probably work on getting their waffles to be really well-executed and not just count on variety to make their name.

I just want them to do for waffles what Square One does for french toast and what Dupars and The Griddle do for pancakes... it's not too much to ask.

Don't bring the kids!

They don't even HAVE a highchair, which gives you some indication of how accommodating they are to children. Plus, the wait is atrocious. We went for dinner on a Thursday night; got a table right away but waited forever for our food. When it finally came, my Buffalo Chicken sandwich was dry and overcooked. Pretty yucky.

First and last trip to The Waffle for this family.

Seems like the second wave of waffle reviews (just noticed we practically post simultaneously) isn't much better than the first; maybe no extremes of "I love / I hate" but just kinda 'meh'.

I'm still surprised they don't offer some waffle combo breakfast -- but if I'm in the mood to try again, I am definitely going for that pancake breakfast :)

We went there today and it was...mixed.

They were not good at handling any kind of crowd and the tables were SO close together.

The waffles were quite good, but doled out as if they were gold. And parking was awful - only street, crowded, or $8 for a lot.

That said - if I could get the cornmeal/jalapeno waffle with chicken and greens for dinner - I would be a very happy gal.
