Congrats Susan, these are exciting times!

Lucques would be nice. I haven't been there in a while, but I seem to remember some nice room on the patio.

Check back in and let us know how dining with the little one goes.

Hi Jonah,

LOVE these posts as we're 8 months pregnant and wondering where and how we will eat post-baby too.

Just wanted to also mention Lucques, where we were taken for our wedding anniversary last weekend. I noticed that someone brought a stroller in, quickly observing that the noise of the environment would most likely be soothing for baby, especially a newborn. Another option to add to the list!

Thanks for these great posts and so much luck to you two!

Great tips Liz, many parents have told me that the newborn infant is the best dining companion. I'm sure that we will go out some, and since it's our first, we get to learn about how much stuff we need to take with us when we leave the house!

Also, take advantage of going out to dinner with baby for the first three months when they are portable and will sleep through virtually anything. We had a few wonderful dining experiences with our daughter tucked under the table sleeping away. Wish we had gone out more in the beginning!! We're now stuck with the super kid-friendly restaurants, which is pretty much pizza and Mexican food.

Your site is great, BTW!
