		<description>I only used to steam my asparagus and didn't feel the need to put anything on it, which is great and pure and healthy, but I recently discovered broiling, too.  Joanna's method is sound.

I loved your descriptions of the flash-boil method, sneakypeteiii, and I look forward to attempting your recipes.

No more snap-n-break for me! (Although the last time I did that, I threw the woody stems in a bag into the freezer for later use in a stock, so it's all good.)</description>

		<description>You forgot the best way to prepare - broil them!! Toss the asparagus with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper and put them under the broiler (or a really hot oven) for about 10 minutes!! So yum and so easy :)</description>
