The best thing we ever cooked up, baby Simon:

Born April 19th, he was a big boy, well fed from our pre-infant dining tour for sure. Just look at all that hair!

Congrats!!! What a crazy head of hair! Did you have a lot of heartburn? I’ve heard full head of hair = nutty coo-coo bad heartburn.

    Congratulations again!

Congratulations and glad to find out you aren’t eating him (as the blog title may suggest)

Hopefully you’ll have lots of great post-infant dining experiences as well! (and I’m sure you two know better than to diaper change on the table) ;)

    Soooo cute!

Forgive the question, but why is it special if a baby is born with a lot of hair?! I’ve never really got that…………………

Congrats and best wishes to you all xox

Thanks! My wife said that she didn’t have too much heartburn, I think raw onions were the main instigator.

I don’t think there is anything special about hair, just less common. One of the nurses was saying that her daughter didn’t really have any hair for a year. My and I both had pretty thick heads of hair when we were born, so maybe it’s in the genes.

Maz tov!!! He looks adorable. My son had a nice head of black hair when he was born; at 43 years old most of his hair is gone… But he is still adorable as will your baby be, even at 43.

Congrats Jonah, what are you serving at the bris? Are we invited?

    Thanks all!

No Bris for this little guy, although his name has some Hebrew origins, we aren’t Jewish. Right now we’re working on serving up as much breast milk as he can handle!

Congrats on the adorable little one, and I look forward to stories of how easy it is to have a kid and still eat out at restaurants to show my husband!
