Some of the food was just mediocre, but the beef tartare is probably what will make me want to go back. As for not macrobiotic, the vegetable dumplings, which were labeled as macrobiotic contained egg as a binder for the dumpling wrapper, which according to the BF, is a macrobiotic no-no. @MaxMillion, you’re right. Perhaps for good reason... As for the sake sampler, it does sound like a great way to check out different cold sakes, but at $15 per 6oz, that's still pretty pricey! I would love to know how much (cost) for what quantity the full-price sake would set us back.
