Thanks for the kind words! Out of curiosity, what restaurant did you and your wife visit?

Please don't change a thing! We love your reviews (here and elsewhere)! My wife and I enjoyed a great dinner at a place you recently reviewed and had a
fantistic dinner. Your tastes might not appeal to everyone, but you are too smart to try to that anyway.

We want to take this opportunity to thank you for doing your reviews. I know it takes a lot of time and energy/effort to keep them coming, bit lots of us out here enjoy and rely on them!

@Viable

Actually, I do review some higher end places, even on this site. If you check out the 'see more of her posts' link, you can see reviews for Barbrix, Le Saint Amour, XIV, Joe's, etc.

Also, I never claimed to be a food expert. I like eating, and I like writing and taking pictures of food, that's all. I don't write about that many fancy places because 1.) the lighting in there is often dim so I'd rather enjoy my dinner than break out the flash and annoy other diners and 2.) I go out more to affordable places than $30 a plate places.

What do you have against poor people? Not everyone can afford to go to a fancy restaurant on a regular basis. Are they not allowed to voice their opinions too? Personally, I love cheaper, hole-in-the wall places. It's one of LA's strong points and I'm glad there are people who write about them.

Do you ever review any place that's not cheap and filthy? If you can't afford to eat in the city, I really don't think you should try to be a food expert. Your reviews are so ANNOYING.
