Santa Monica Farmers Market Report For 2/1/06

The market was great today, nice weather and lots of folks.
Saw Micheal of Michaels restaurant (he was speaking french to some chefs) out collecting veggies and fruit.
Starting to see: lots of strawberries
Continuing to see: lots of cauliflower, broccoli, lettuces (all varieties- green leaf, read leaf, romaine), potatoes, celery, lots of citrus!

The Santa Monica Farmer’s Market was hopping last Saturday morning. We haven’t been there since the holidays, so the produce had completely changed in our absence! We saw some wonderful strawberries, greens, mandarins and blood oranges.
